Rapid Prototyping

Lemac Manufacturing provides Rapid Prototyping services. Depending on the size of your product you could have a prototype within a week. When you send your drawings to us, we will give you an honest evaluation of how long it will take for us to create your prototype.

Rapid Prototyping Advantages:

Rapid Prototyping:

  • Decreases development time
  • Decreases design errors and flaws
  • Minimizes engineering changes
  • Allows you to add and eliminate features early in the design

Imagine having a prototype in hand for:

  • Testing
  • Evaluation
  • Refinement

Perhaps the greatest advantage of Rapid Prototyping is COMMUNICATION.

There is nothing like having a physical product to show potential investors, marketers, clients and sales teams. Physical prototypes allow your team, from engineering to sales, to get on the same page quickly for collaborative projects.

What Lemac Believes

Lemac company policy is that there is no challenge we won’t take on! We are dedicated to excellent customer service; our goal is to provide the highest quality parts with the shortest lead times at the most competitive prices possible.

What Makes Lemac Special?

Shop capabilities: Lemac has 4 different vacuum forming ovens of varying sizes, which allows us to make large and small products as efficiently as possible. We have 2 CNC machines which bring robotic technology and precision to our finished products, as well as a myriad of other finishing tools.

Engineering: Our lead engineer has over 40 years of experience in the plastics business, engineering and manufacturing parts for many different industries. LMC uses Solidworks CAD to create a virtual prototype. With the virtual prototype we can test tolerances, stress points, and even impact strength in the computer program to troubleshoot designs before the tooling is made.

Flexibility in quantity, function and design: Vacuum forming allows for a huge range of part sizes, shapes, and colors. Whether your part is 1”x 1” or 10 ’x 10’, vacuum forming can accommodate that size. Draw depths can range from parts of an inch, all the way up to 3 feet.

Proprietary Protection: As an Original Equipment Manufacturer LMC understands that any designs brought to us are proprietary. All of our employees have signed non-disclosure agreements.

LMC & Environmental Stewardship

Lemac is committed to environmental stewardship. One of our first priorities when we moved into our new facility was retrofitting the entire building to use low energy light bulbs. We implemented a recycling program that encompasses both our shop floor and our offices. All of the plastic trimmed during the production process is reground and recycled into usable plastic. We use that same recycled plastic to produce our parts.

Lemac Manufacturing Co Inc. is the home of 30 years of the highest quality custom engineered vacuum and pressure formed plastic products.

Materials routinely used: ABS, PVC, HIPS, HDPE, Acrylic and many others.
